Maps and Driving Directions to the Solar Vistas Project
Fly via Sansa or Nature Air to Tambor Airport from San Jose (approx $70 one way). Rent a car from Budget, which has an office in Tambor, and also one
in Malpais (Playa Carmen). From Tambor, drive to Cobano (15 min). Drive straight through Cobano and follow the signs toward Malpais/Santa Teresa.
After about 15 minutes, you'll see a large watertower on the right. Turn right just before the watertower. Follow a steep road down to cross a river,
and follow this for two minutes. When the road splits, take the road to the left. When you cross a cattle-guard, Solar Vistas will be in front of you.
Driving from Malpais/Santa Teresa - go up the hill from the crossroads, about 5-6 minutes until you see the watertower on the left. Take the next left.
Follow a steep road down to cross a river, and follow this for two minutes. If the road splits, take the side which seems like it's going more straight.
When you cross a cattle-guard, Solar Vistas will be in front of you.
