Geoff McCabe, CEO
Geoff has an extensive entrepreneurial background, having started or managed several multi-million dollar businesses. A graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, Geoff also has a master's degree in Physics and is a professional fire dancer. The Southern Nicoya's primary "green-pusher", Geoff is also an owner of Tropisphere Real Estate and leads the company's Malpais/Santa Teresa office, and donates 10% of all commissions to help the local community. Geoff has extensive product design experience as well, and put that to good use designing the Solar Vistas houses using Google's "Sketch-Up" 3D-modelling software. Geoff, his wife Karen, and their baby Serafina Love, live in Montezuma. Their family website is at Geoff McCabe's Life. Geoff is active in his community, frequently helping to give presentations on Costa Rica's wildlife at local schools, and is a founder of Rainsong Wildlife Sanctuary.
Dan Balogh, President
Danny, long one of Malpais' legendary surf instructors, approaches real estate the same way he does surfing - without fear, but with deep respect for nature. Also, president of Costa Rica Investment Group. Danny is also the creator of the first health food restaurant in the Malpais/Santa Teresa area - Jungle Juice.
Jimmy Lee, Vice-President
Jimmy worked as a Greenpeace team leader for six years in Washington,DC. He left Greenpeace to study Chiropractic in Georgia. Weeks after receiving his Doctorate he moved to Costa Rica. Established for ten years as a chiropractor in the town of San Ramon, Costa rica, Jimmy is also a yoga instructor. Also a serial entrepreur, Jimmy has found that green building and real estate are a perfect combination for his skills and background.
